Announcing YummyNames!

If you’re here, you’ve obviously already heard the news: our new service, called YummyNames, officially launched today. If you are wondering what YummyNames is all about, there’s a couple of ways for me to explain it.

  • You can read the news release that we put out this morning.
  • You can visit our special “Social Media Release” or SMR. Think of it as a one-stop shop for bloggers or anyone else looking for information, images, videos, facts and quotes about the launch of YummyNames.
  • You can have a look around www.yummynames.com. There’s lots of information on who we are and what we do. Plus, you can try a search or two and see what the portfolio has to offer.
  • You can watch the video below and I’ll do my best to explain YummyNames in three minutes.

    I think pricing the domains, at least the showcase, instead of “Contact Us”, would greatly improve chances of contact from a buyer. I have interest in many of the domains, but without any type of range, I might as well start calling the owners of every premium domain.

    @ tcxnl: Thank you. We have already begun to promote YummyNames, and we will continue to do so in the coming months. The response so far from members of the marketing and advertising community has been very positive.

    @ Domain Cannon: We intend to add prices (or ranges) to many of the domains in the future; that has always been part of the plan. All of the domains listed on YummyNames are owned by Tucows.

    @ tcxnl: Thanks for pitching in to help clarify the point about domain ownership!
